Step to justice. Journalist Kirill Vyshinsky released in Kiev
The chief editor of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky announced his readiness to return to Kiev to participate in the next court hearing on his criminal case, due on September 16.
According to Vyshinsky, the lawyer will specify the date of the meeting, after which he will decide when to return.
“I am still in court, I am still in the process, I want to prove my innocence, I want the court to admit it,” the TASS journalist quotes.
He also said that he intends to continue his professional activities.
Earlier on Saturday, a plane with Vyshinsky and other Russians released during an exchange of held persons between Russia and Ukraine landed in Moscow.
The exchange of persons arrested and convicted in the Russian Federation and Ukraine began on the morning of September 7th. 33 people flew to Russia, including the head of the RIA Novosti Ukraine portal. According to some reports, director Oleg Sentsov, convicted of terrorism in the Russian Federation, was sent to Ukraine by special board, among others.
