US President Donald Trump has denied information about plans to appoint Secretary of State Michael Pompeo to the post of National Security Advisor, Interfax reports.

The American chapter explained that he is currently considering 15 candidates for this position.

On the eve it was reported that the US Presidential Administration proposes to appoint Secretary of State Michael Pompeo to the post of presidential adviser on national security.

Recall that on Tuesday, Trump fired his national security adviser John Bolton. According to the head of the White House, he made major mistakes and did not find a common language with some people in the administration.
