Moscow, August 24 – AIF-Moscow.
US President Donald Trump said that Washington will increase the size of duties on Chinese goods, reports TASS.
According to the American head, from October 1, the United States will introduce duties of not $ 25%, but 30% for goods from China worth $ 250 billion.
Recall that the United States and China previously introduced mutual increased customs duties on some goods. This happened in July and September 2018. In December, at the G20 summit in Argentina, the presidents of the two countries decided to conclude a “truce” in a trade war. In early July this year, the parties again began to hold consultations on the settlement of the trade dispute.
On August 1, US President Donald Trump announced plans to introduce 10 percent duties on the “remaining” imports from China, which is estimated at $ 300 billion. According to the American leader, the duties will begin on September 1.
