Bolton and Washington chatter. What is hindering Putin’s meeting with Trump?
US President Donald Trump fired his national security adviser John Bolton, as reported on the microblog on Twitter.
The American leader wrote that on Monday evening he informed Bolton that he no longer needed his services, and asked him to resign.
On Tuesday morning, the adviser filed for resignation.
Trump noted that he categorically disagreed with many of his assistant's proposals, like other White House employees.
The president thanked John Bolton for his service and promised to name the new national security adviser next week.
