"Iran's message about the capture of the CIA's spies is completely false," he wrote in his microblog on Twitter.
The American leader called these messages a lie and propaganda, a common "religious regime that fails and has no idea what to do," and said that the Iranian "economy is dead."
Earlier, the director of the counterterrorism department of the Iranian Ministry of Information (Intelligence) announced the sentencing of 17 people accused of spying for the United States. According to him, spies collected data on Iran’s vital facilities and were trained by the CIA.
