The court of the European Union withdrew sanctions from the ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

According to a press release on the organization’s website, the European Court of General Jurisdiction annulled the freezing of funds of seven members of the former Ukrainian ruling class, including Yanukovych.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the EU Council again extended restrictions against the former head of Ukraine and 11 more people.

Who dropped out of the sanctions list, except for Yanukovych, is not specified.

Recall that the EU imposed sanctions against several citizens of Ukraine, including against Yanukovych and his family members on March 5, 2014. In April, it was reported that the EU lifted sanctions from the nine approximate former Ukrainian leader.
