Moscow, July 11 – AIF-Moscow.
The Russian Foreign Ministry is alarmed by the events in the Strait of Hormuz, said Deputy Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
"Washington has created a stalemate." Will Iran get a nuclear bomb?
He called the situation very alarming and expressed his conviction that lately the risks of direct confrontation have intensified so much that it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict the further development of the situation, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier it was reported that five boats, possibly belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in the Strait of Hormuz tried to stop the British tanker.
It was noted that the tanker left the Persian Gulf when the crew was ordered to change course and stop in Iranian territorial waters. The crew of the British frigate accompanying the tanker, in turn, ordered the alleged Iranian military to miss the ship.
