Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed Russian-Ukrainian relations with the permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, during the meeting, both the issues of the internal Russian agenda and a number of aspects of relations between Russia and Ukraine were discussed, including in the light of the telephone conversation of the presidents of the two states.
Recall, on Thursday, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky first talked on the phone. The conversation took place on the initiative of the Ukrainian side. The leaders discussed the settlement of the situation in the south-east of Ukraine, the negotiations in the Norman format and the joint work on the return of the persons held.
