The head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has approved the dates for parliamentary elections in the republic, the presidential press service said.

Voting in the Council of the Republic will take place on November 7, and in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on November 17 of this year.
The organization of elections and monitoring the implementation of the requirements of the law during the voting will be the Central Election Commission of the republic.
Nomination of candidates for the Council of the Republic will end on October 8. Government agencies and other organizations are entrusted with the preparation and conduct of elections to the House of Representatives. Also, the Council of Ministers of the republic must provide funding for the preparation and conduct of both elections. Funds will be allocated from the budget of the country.
Earlier, the head of the Belarusian CEC announced on August 30 of next year the optimal date for the election of the head of state.
