"We are people, not separatists!" Residents of Donbass received Russian passports

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, announced the prerequisites for progress in implementing the Minsk agreements.

According to him, such shifts were outlined after the last meeting of experts of the “Norman format” (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France) in Paris and during the recent meeting of the contact group in Minsk.

Lavrov noted that Moscow will fully support this attitude.

“We will use our capabilities to promote practical steps in this area, including in our contacts with Donetsk and Lugansk,” RIA Novosti quotes the Minister.

On the eve of the contact group agreed an indefinite truce in the Donbass. It will take effect from July 21.
