“Power poured out.” Why the members of United Russia went to the exit

"Power poured out." Why the members of United Russia went to the exit

Members "United Russia", dissenters, like 92% of Russians (according to the survey "Romir"), with the increase in retirement age, began to take their membership cards. "The party’s program and the activities of its leadership began to be directed against its own people. I do not want to participate in this manure and get dirty about it.", Nikolai Tarakhov from Nizhny Tagil wrote in his statement on the withdrawal from the party of power. Secretary of the Zavolzhsky branch of the EP (Ivanovo region) Alexander Kryuchenkov also left the party, because he considers the bill "anti-people". He was supported now by the ex-party member Vadim Provorov from Kineshma, for whom, in his words, the planned pension reform "was the last straw".

– We are only the first swallows, you will see, in the near future from "United Russia" a massive exodus will begin, every week will go away, – says Vadim Provorov Radio Liberty. He was the secretary of the local party cell since 2006, he always considered himself "ardent United Russia". However, now it is already in the past.

According to him, now the party is leaving the most active and not indifferent members of it.

– Alexander Kryuchenkov – what a responsible and active party member was, a smart guy, half-Plesa after all built (Ples, where the residence of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is – the most untwisted and well-groomed city in the Ivanovo region.) – RS), and he’s not withstood, left the party. Olga Matyushina, very active, with a heartache for her native Zavolzhsk, how much she made for her city! And she left the party for the same reason: she wrote in her statement that she leaves voluntarily, because "does not support the party’s anti-popular reforms directed against the interests of the majority of the population of the Russian Federation". I also did not think that I would ever do it, but I simply did not have any strength, I got it stupidly, that the party turned into an appendage of power, and its members, like the deputies, can not influence anything. And all this is happening at the federal and local levels. For example, in Ivanovo we tried to silently drag the law on SDW, which no one had a dream or a sound, then in Kineshma, where there were 84 thousand inhabitants in general, without even informing anyone secretly, even without mentioning deputies, completely dragged antinational general plan. The representatives of the administration drove to the hearings, there were practically no local residents, because no one knew anything. And members "United Russia" only vote as they say and do not influence anything at all. Yes, and must be silent! You know, I’m a military man in the past, I’m used to working in a team, but then I realized that I can not step over myself, well, all, well, the edge already!

– Will the pension reform affect you?

– I do not: as a military pensioner, I get a pension from 41 years old, my native army, in any way, 21 "the calendar" gave (21 calendar year – RS), no feats for me, no awards, too, but served honestly. He traveled a lot to different cities, visited Kineshma and just fell in love with this city! He then was on the rise: here they cleaned up the garbage, and made roads, and in itself he is very handsome, to my heart he came. After my dismissal, I divorced my wife, leaving them an apartment with my daughter, and I myself came here, joined "United Russia", which at that time for the city did a lot of things. I had no business then, I did not pursue my interests, I just wanted our city to be well. I wanted to be useful. Being a builder by profession, I later controlled almost 70% of large construction projects. And now what? You try our Ivanovo builders in the city to find! They all work in other regions, but here there are only solid left-wing firms. And how they build, it’s just horror! Yes, I would punch them myself for this quality of work, because it stupidly sawed and squandered the people’s money. But "United Russia" silent about this and only obediently votes when necessary.

Yes, I would punch them myself for this quality of work, because it stupidly sawed and squandered the people’s money. But "United Russia" silent about this and only obediently votes when necessary.

– Why do you consider pension reform anti-popular?

– Because in the form in which it is offered, it will only exacerbate the problem. We do not have work in the city, neither for young people, nor for the elderly. Who can – goes to Moscow or other cities for work. And if you increase the retirement age, among young people even more unemployment will be … And then, I’m a builder, tell me how I’ll send the finishing worker of the 60-year-old to the woods? Come on, it’s all over, he’ll crash himself and be killed! .. And then – now there are categories of workers who are entitled to a privileged pension. And in the new law this is not a word about it. Will they stay? They will be removed? Or will they add something to them, too? How can you vote for such a damp document, there is no specifics in it? That’s Putin said that he does not like any of the proposed options for the pension reform. Putin, we have a umnichka, one hope for him. But after all, look at what is happening: the distortion of information goes on all levels, starting with the district level. And what figures are drawn to Putin, you can only guess! I think he does not even know about many things. With such helpers and advisers as he, he can not do anything right, he decides everything in a manual mode, well, where does this fit ?! Then the salary is not paid to someone, Putin helps, Putin decides – is this the level of the president? Our heart hurts for what is happening. What about Putin? He believes his environment … And pension reform, if it really is necessary, it was necessary to start from the other end: to raise medicine, to organize workplaces, to make entrepreneurs not rats and go into the shadows, to ask them for it harshly.

"Power poured out." Why the members of United Russia went to the exitVadim Provorov

– You gave so many years "United Russia", do not mind throwing comrades?

– Anything for these years was. The Party has long been falling apart, taking up posts "dead souls", with which I have always called for fighting. Because otherwise we do not know in reality how much it has in our country "fighters", well, where it suits? One of my comrades in the cell allegedly has 47 acting members, but in reality 26, the rest are dead souls. So I called to get rid of them. In my cell everything is just "living" there were no additions. So I, though a faithful Putinist, and a devoted United Russia, have never been particularly comfortable with the party. And good and good deeds can be done without a party.

Head of the Executive Committee of the EP in Kineshma Svetlana Grünbaum said that, apart from Provorov, none of the party is going to leave, there have been no such statements so far. She admits that the pension reform has severely knocked down the residents of the city. "They call us constantly, shout, accuse us of all sins, why we are silent, why the party supports and accepts all this, – she says. – I say: come and write a statement, we will send it to Moscow, but no one for some reason does not come. And what else can we do, I myself do not know. And all, of course, hope that Putin will not sign this".

Another woman, a member of the local ER cell, who asked not to indicate her surname, is more categorical.

"To say that the pension reform was negative – it’s like nothing to say, those who are 50-55 are outraged to the limit, but what’s there – the whole city is on its ears, – she says. “All the peasants died in my house. Up to 60 finalize, and in 61 already in the cemetery. Not a single man-pensioner in the house! To the husband of 55, he already two weeks lays, in serious depression. He lies and says that before there was at least a small chance to live on a pension, and now he just will not live to see it. And then – and then we live for years? There is no work in the city. Where should he go – go to Moscow? So there he will not even be taken to the guard".

Previously, Kineshma was a textile town, there was a branch of AZLK.

– The city of industrialists was considered, everything was buzzing, it was being built, life was boiling, people were coming here, – the woman recalls. – And then everything was handed over to private hands, privatized, enterprises began to pour in one after another, the city itself became stale. On July 31, we will close the last weaving spinning mill, went bankrupt. Someone, few, however, were put into production in the neighboring city, but most of the weavers will remain on the street. The majority’s pension now is 9-10 thousand rubles, and a communal apartment for a couple of people in Khrushchevka is 6-7 thousand, that’s how we live … But what about us? We vote like they said, we have strict party discipline, but everything is boiling inside. Vaughn in neighboring Zavolzhsk not silent: out of 12 deputies of the city council against the pension reform, nine voted, including the chairman of the Council. At the same time, six of them were nominated as deputies "United Russia", – said a member of the cell of the EP from Kineshma.

– For the ruling party, the reform was, of course, a big test, especially since it fell on the election period. Among the ordinary United Russia, quite a few internally disagree with it, however, while the party is still unified, there are no divisions in it at the moment, “the head of the Center for Economic and Political Reforms Nikolay Mironov. – Unicorns are not the first to adopt unpopular laws, and besides, they simply do not have other options – to leave politics even worse than to agree with the reform: the opposition contour is weak and there you will not make a career.

The pension reform, because of which the United Russia activists started to leave the party, according to the calculations of the authorities, will allow to increase pensions by an average of one thousand rubles a year. According to the government, in 2019 the average pension of non-working pensioners will be 15.4 thousand rubles, and by 2024 it will reach 20 thousand rubles. Indexation of pensions, according to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, will be held on January 1 of each year.

– The pension reform dealt a severe blow to the regime. It became clear that Putin is not a miracle worker, and that something might not work for him either, the political scientist says. Abbas Gallyamov. – The myth of the great ruler that arose after the annexation of the Crimea, of course, did not collapse, but already swayed. Criticism of the authorities from the lot of marginalized people turns into a mainstream. Even the rejection of reform will not restore the status quo. People can perceive the situation as if the authorities were frightened of popular discontent and played back. The people will feel the taste for protest. It will become clear to him that by demonstrating his indignation one can solve problems.

The fact that the most active supporters and "fighters", says that "the building of the regime began to crumble around the edges". "This is a serious signal to the whole of society, that the power fell down", – the expert believes.
