The Great Rift Valley
The Great Rift Valley, or, as it is also called, the “Great African Rift”, is 100 kilometers from the city, but the trip there will be one of the unforgettable impressions of the African continent.
It began its rift in Jordan, and ends somewhere in Mozambique, crossing Kenya almost in the center. The great rift valley, stretching for many kilometers, is rightly considered a geological miracle of the world: along the edges the rift is surrounded by volcanoes, salt holes and hot springs formed in the deepenings, and the local flora and fauna is a sample of wild nature and picturesque landscapes.
Pay special attention to the local lakes: Lake Nakuru – home of a huge population of pink flamingos, Lake Naivasha housed hippos, and Lake Bogoria is a real valley of geysers and hot springs.

Giraffe Manor Boutique Hotel
The hotel occupies a mansion built in 1932 by David Duncan, modeled on Scottish hunting houses. In 1974, a nursery for the Rothschild giraffes was established here, which are still threatened with extinction.
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served on the terrace or backyard, where majestic animals stroll just a few meters from your table. In addition to giraffes, there are warthogs, antelopes, hyenas and several hundred birds in the nursery.
The hotel has only 10 rooms, the windows of which periodically look at curious animals.
If you are going to Kenya, include this hotel in the map of your itineraries.

Masai Mara Nature Reserve
One of the most visited African reserves is located right on the border with Tanzania. The Masai Mara is a boundless African savannah, through which millions of animals move every year during the great migration. Among them, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, rhinoceros, giraffes, lions, leopards and many other species. Migration continues from May to October. Here you can see the settlements of the ancient African tribe of Masai, in whose honor the reserve is named.
Tired of walking through African natural attractions, enjoy the peace and beauty of the ocean at Watamu Resort, which is located next to the homonymous marine national park. First of all, a visit to Watam will appeal to lovers of the underwater world: there is a great variety of coral reefs. Immediately you can meet octopuses, rays, whale sharks, barracudas and turtles.
