Goalkeeper “Wolves” Ikeme, recovered from leukemia, completed his career at 32 years old

Goalkeeper “Wolverhampton” Karl Ikeme retired at 32.

The Nigerian last came out on the field in May last year. Two months later it became known that he had acute leukemia.

In June of this year, Ikeme said that he had a complete remission. He went through a course of intensive chemotherapy.

Ikeme is a pupil of “Wolverhampton” and spent his whole career in the club, but at the same time repeatedly spoke for other teams on loan.
